Visit from the Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy made another visit to our house on Friday night (might I add, "finally!!"). Jack's front tooth was hanging by a thread for days, but he refused to let anyone pull it out. It was supremely gross! He could actually bend the thing all the way back so that it was kind of laying on the roof of his mouth. I really have no idea what kept it in there for so long.

Thankfully, it just sort of dropped out as he was getting ready to take a bite of his waffles Friday morning. He didn't even realize it happened; I was giving him some juice and saw it bounce on his lap! He was thrilled. The tooth fairy left him a whopping two dollars, which he promptly deposited in his piggy bank.

Jack and I weren't the only ones who were excited about his tooth. Sam was pretty thrilled, too!
