Jack turns 7

Jack had a little bash at home to celebrate his 7th birthday. He invited three friends from his class: Will, Nick, and Carly (not pictured here). They had a ball--they played with lightsabers and toys for a while, and then decided it was time to sugar up! So...we organized a little ice cream sundae station in the kitchen, and the kids filed through and piled on the toppings. Then, we sang "Happy Birthday" and cut the cake--which was covered in frosting designed to look like a prehistoric landscape, complete with a couple of dinosaurs action figures that roared and lit up.

After all that excitement, we opened presents and played with them for the rest of the party. I think he really enjoyed it. He's just getting so big...it's hard to believe it!
